It all started in 1983 when Pascal Chevallier, a young french photographer from Paris published one of his photographies in Elle Magazine. That’s when his career started. After moving from Interior design photos in the 80’s, to fashion photoshoots in the 90’s, and after years of travel between France, India, Japan, Australia, or Kenya, he’s now based in Paris, searching for the right appartment to shoot, or the great design to immortalize. Egon Gade is a danish photographer working for advertising agencies and design studios around the scandivanian countries. Bang and Olufsen, Fritz Hansen and Malene Birger are some of his clients. You probably already saw some of his work since in the late 80’s and 90’s he was known around the Denmark as “The beer photographer”. Rather than beautify them, PhotoShop is used to great effect here to ruff up some celebrity actors. I find this selection originate from respectable talent, so now we just need to see some talentless celebs receive the same treatment.
