The Braun Post-Disaster Emergency Foot Protective Accessory is for the rescue workers who are there on scene of disasters like earthquakes. Due to the disturbed topography after such calamities, the feet of the rescue guys are most vulnerable and susceptible to injury and infection. Shards of glass, nails, debris etc. hamper the mission and walking over them always poses a threat. This handy contraption fits snugly over the shoe and protects the feet from accidental nips and cuts thanks to its sturdy structure. It’s a two-part thing with a steel and silica gel insole and an over-the-shoe strap-up.

Sun Shine And A Curtain

The practical application of Some Shine Solar Energy Storage System is quite simple. You hang up the cool looking Solar Curtain on your window, and keep the battery-pack hooked to the base. It soaks in the solar energy during the daytime, stores it and uses it to replenish your gadgets at night. Hook up your stuff via the USB port and you’re done for the night. Me really , really likes this!

Single Pen Dispenses All Colors

A must-have on any designer’s desk is his marker pen; the more, the merrier! Getting high-tech about the colors and tools is this Braun Markerfool Marker Pen. It’s been designed especially to provide a variety of colors from just a single pen. Kinda like a miniature inkjet printer, that has a touch screen so that you can mix in the CMYK colors and use them. Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black! Altho not elaborated, it claims to be an eco-friendly concept, I assume it’s coz you’ll need a lot less pens. Just this one!

For those of you who have nursed an ill or bedridden family member, you’ll agree that giving them a bath is the most time consuming and fragile moment. Transporting them to and from the showers & keeping them steady during the bath can be a draining experience. The Braun V-Stol System looks at cutting the trauma, by providing a refreshing bath right on the patient’s bed. The system consists of an inflatable container in which the patient lays; a shower with hot water at different pressures, a container of water (3 liters capacity) and controls.
The system works this way; you place the inflatable mattress under the patient and inflate it. It becomes like a shallow tub for him to lie in. Hook up the water motor and shower system. After the bath, simply drain out the water from the side to a container and deflate the mattress. Principles of the Venturi effect are used in this system. And details like a comfy elevated headrest has been taken care of.

The V-Stol is more for the terminally ill and old frail folks; from past personal experience of nursing an ill family member, I think this idea is really awesome.
