The Jet Travertine Water Basin from the Aqua Collection by Vaselli

Vaselli is located in Serre di Rapolano, a part of Tuscany that is renowned for the variation in the color and structure of it’s travertine. It is in this Italian village that skilled artisans chisel away at enormous blocks of travertine to create extraordinary bath fixtures. The soft curves and asymmetrical forms found within the Aqua collection accentuate the natural beauty of the travertine. With a holistic approach to bath design, Vaselli completes this collection with a rustic wood countertop for the basin and travertine tiles for the floor and walls.

The name of this bathroom collection right here is “Aqua.” Designed by one Pavel Ivanov for a future feeling bathroom for water appreciators around the world. Designed to be a full installation for a bathroom area in a home, panels, mirrors, sinks and all. The wall panels, made to be an envelope for the entire room, acts as not only a lamp, but a cupboard storage system as well.

This system’s facade also replicates the topography of the plumbing as well, making this deal a whole new-age way of looking at the full package. I’m really digging the stone-treatment of the panel above the sink most of all. And that light system!

Pearl is an elegant concept for a bathroom that befits a spiritual experience, when you use it. It reflects calmness and peace with the choice of materials & colors used in its construction. Akin to the pearl in an oyster, you’re supposed to feel the same sense of serenity within its stone and gray interiors. The washbasins, bidet, toilet table etc. take cue from Japanese gardens and the round window is a stark Enso Buddhist reminder. Essentially if you follow the noble intentions of the bathroom, porn mags and bathroom sex fly out the window!

The Waterdrop Shower Room brings to life the childhood fantasies of role-playing while taking a bath. Sometimes you’re a beastly pirate and sometimes a brave hero rescuing your ducks. This exciting enclosure comes with a tactile touchscreen that almost envelopes you. Its giant screen happily plays for you soothing melodies of the Chinese Opera to Nemo (although I reckon the big guys will opt for something more seductive!) and transports you to fantasy land!
The enclosure is actually a two-part thing; with the upper section rising up and lower section sliding and rotating to give easy access to the showers. Features include a powerful tactile touch screen that controls the video, music, showers, jet intensities and temperatures.
