“The Gorrinucha” is a joint project between Milrayas & Ceramics San Gines. This piece (cute piggy!) was created for the annual contest of design applied to craft and takes place in Castilla-La Mancha (Spain), in order to provide a platform that encourages creativity and talent as well as a meeting place between artisans and professionals.
“Gorrinucha” is an object with a purpose that has outlived its usefulness, both to be dismissed as an icon and with full of sarcasm and humor. I mean how many people find piggy banks useful? My sisters were given joint bank account before they were teenagers and taught how to save the capitalist way. I still want one though.

La Tomatina is world largest tomato fight in the world.It start in last wednesday in august.The festival take place in town Buñol in Spain.Tens of thousands of participants come from all over the world to fight in a brutal battle where more than one hundred tons of tomatoes are thrown in the streets.
At around 10 a.m., the first event of the Tomatina begins. Many trucks haul the bounty of tomatoes into the center of the town.Once it begins, the battle is generally every man for himself. Those who partake in this event are strongly encouraged to wear protective safety goggles and gloves. In addition, they must squish the tomatoes before throwing for safety precautions. Another rule is that no one is allowed to bring into this fight anything that may provoke someone into a more serious brawl, such as a glass bottle. Although it is forbidden to tear someone else’s clothing, the crowd tends to ignore this and invariably will rip the shirt of any clothed person, man or woman. After exactly one hour, the fighting ends when the water cannons are fired once more to signal the end. At this point, no more tomatoes can be thrown.And on this crazy event evry year comes approximately 20,000–40,000 tourists come to the tomato fight.
