Yasutaka Yoshimura Architects – Hourai

Awesome re-design made by Yasutaka Yoshimura Architects. Built on the Yamagata coast (Tohoku), the renovation was made in collaboration with a group of students from the Tohoku University of Art and Design, to give them a chance, touching the ground of their futur. In this case, the interior design was totally conceived with one eye in the past, re-creating the atmosphere of their ancestors, and one eye in the present, with contemporary materials.
