In an effort to put an end to the hundreds of plastic cups used in events, designers over at The Way We See The World have envisioned glasses made from biodegradable materials such as jelloware. The designers have unveiled unique Jell-O glasses at the 2nd annual Jell-O Mold Competition in Brooklyn, New York.
Made from agar agar, these glasses are disposable and edible and re-imagine the concept of drinking. The glasses are created in various flavors including lemon-basil, ginger-mint and rosemary beet. The colorful glasses can do well in adding an extra dimension to drinking a beverage. Moreover, after being thrown on the ground, the seaweed-extract that they’re made from helps plants grow in a much better way.
