It isn’t just the clothing that’s a piece of art in this boutique- the Runway boutique in Ho Chi Minh City designed by CLS Architetti is dedicated solely to LUXURY and this interior almost puts the clothing itself to shame. With various materials, designs and shapes- you’re inside an atmospheric bubble of juxtaposition between shiny “mermaid scales” covering the a gigantic orb, to waves and layers coverings the ceilings and walls….hopefully you don’t get vertigo too easily, or you’d certainly be dizzy here.
In the center of the main shopping room is a shining “disco ball-like” structure, then in contrast throughout the spaces there’s more natural materials like stone tables, seats and a “mountain-inspired” couch (literally, it looks like a mountain landscape.) The modern crystal, stainless steel and ceiling covered in plaster roses gives a sensual, feminine touch to this high-end boutique. With a VIP room, clothing, shoes and interesting pieces displayed creatively like art and an overall inviting, soft light- the Runway boutique has certainly achieved their goal of creating a “luxurious” space, one like any other I’ve seen-now if only I could get over to Vietnam to experience this luxury for myself…..
