The first result ‘folder’ is a soloproject by Stefan Schöning. The chair was cut and folded into existence based on the ancient japanese art form of origami. The basic idea is the impression of paper-origami. Therefore it needs a rigid material but with a mat-aspect of white paper. it consists of a polypropylene sheet which is cut, scored and folded into a chair. it holds by means of snapping clips which are invisible and form the rigid structure of the chair.
