Tendril has announced that the company will be launching its next generation in-home energy display next week at DistribuTECH, the nation’s leading trade show focused on utility energy distribution and efficiency. Dubbed Vision, the revolutionary device allows people to link directly with their utility to get meaningful and real-time information about their energy use and cost.
The company expects that with the simple use of this device customers will be able to reduce their consumption by an average of 10 to 15 percent. The device has been especially made for smart grids of the future, where the users will be able to interact with their electric company and keep tabs on how much energy they’re using.
