The Stump series of furniture are all made of reclaimed wood that might otherwise be tossed out. The object was to create a sustainable business and create designs that were engaging while hiding their recycled nature. The price point is excellent too at just under $200 for most pieces. Normal carpentry facilities would cost too much to mass produce the series. Instead, work programs for rehabs and disabled people made production possible while providing employment for a large group of marginalized people. I love it!
